Plea #16: Today, we received royal reports from the King's men that tensions are rising in the North.
The once steady treaty held between our kingdom and its Northern counterpart is seemingly under scrutiny after troops were detected approaching the dividing mountain range.
The King's head analyst has expressed concerns over this action being one of aggression, while the King has exercised a bit more optimism.
The King has responded by sending a courier to the Northern kingdom with a scroll expressing their concerns, in an attempt to clarify intentions and if necessary, begin talks with the region before things escalate further. This message was sent today, as such, the courier is not expected to reach the kingdom for another 1-2 days.
The king has stated that he is, "not too worried" and expects this to be a, "simple misunderstanding". He urges people not to be alarmed at this time, and to rest assured that they're handling the situation both swiftly and delicately.
